MERAHPUTIH.COM - FILM The Odyssey sukses mencuri perhatian sejak resmi tayang di bioskop Indonesia pada 15 Juli 2026. Tak butuh waktu lama, film ini ramai diperbincangkan berkat kualitas produksinya yang menuai banyak apresiasi. Mulai dari jajaran pemeran, desain produksi, alur cerita, sinematografi, hingga tata musik, seluruh elemen dinilai berhasil menghadirkan pengalaman sinematik yang memukau.
Di balik durasinya yang mencapai sekitar tiga jam, The Odyssey hanya menghadirkan satu lagu sebagai soundtrack utama, yakni When I'm Home (2026). Lagu tersebut dibawakan James Blake, Travis Scott, dan Ludwig Göransson, sekaligus menjadi pengiring emosional yang memperkuat perjalanan sang tokoh utama sepanjang film.
Secara makna, lirik When I'm Home menggambarkan perjalanan panjang Odysseus yang mengarungi lautan selama delapan tahun demi menemukan jalan pulang. Menariknya, salah satu penggalan lirik dalam lagu tersebut juga dihadirkan sebagai dialog di dalam The Odyssey sehingga semakin memperkuat keterkaitan antara soundtrack dan narasi film.
