Lagu ini resmi dirilis di bawah naungan Atlantic Records dan menjadi simbol kembalinya Hilary ke dunia pop, namun dengan sentuhan yang jauh lebih dewasa, reflektif, dan penuh kepercayaan diri.

“Mature adalah semacam percakapan pribadi antara diriku di masa lalu dan diriku hari ini,” tutur Hilary.
