GOLDEN Globe Awards ke-75 jadi ajang penghargaan utama yang digelar Hollywood setelah skandal pelecehan seksual oleh Harvey Weinsteins terkuak. Ajang itu pun menjadi arena untuk menyerukan kepedulian lewat gerakan #MeToo.

Seperti dikutip dari The Independent, banyak artis yang menghadiri ajang tersebut dalam balutan baju hitam untuk membangkitkan kewaspadaan terhadap kejahatan seksual. Selain itu, tidak sedikit aktivis yang ikut berjalan di red carpet bersama para selebritas top Hollywood.

Meskipun isu pelecehan seksual jadi yang disorot, acara malam itu utamanya ialah pemberian penghargaan bagi film dan insan perfilman terbaik.

Film Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri menang besar malam itu, membawa pulang empat piala. Untuk kategori televisi, jumlah penghargaan yang sama diraih acara produksi HBO, Big Little Lies, yang dibintangi Reese Witherspoon dan Nicole Kidman.
