'The Power of the Dog' Terbanyak, ini Daftar Lengkap Nominasi Oscar 2022

FILM Netflix The Power of the Dog memperoleh 12 nominasi, antara lain untuk best picture, best supporting actor oleh Kodi Smit-McPhee, dan best supporting actress oleh Kirsten Dunst.

Menyusul di belakangnya, Dune karya Denis Villeneuve yang mendapat 10 nominasi, termasuk nominasi bergengsi untuk best picture, best adapted screenplay, dan best cinematography, yang bisa mengantarkannya menjadi film terbaik.

Pada posisi selanjutnya ada Belfast dan West Side Story yang masing-masing mendapatkan tujuh dan enam nominasi. Kedua film tersebut masuk daftar nominasi best picture bersama dengan CODA, Don’t Look Up, Drive My Car, Dune, King Richard, Licorice Pizza, Nightmare Alley, dan The Power of the Dog.

Seperti dua tahun sebelumnya, tahun ini daftar nominasi best picture kembali memasukkan film berbahasa asing Drive My Car. Film berbahasa Jepang ini juga telah meraih piala Golden Globe Awards 2022 dalam kategori best motion picture non-English language.

Drive My Car merupakan film drama Jepang 2021 yang ditulis dan disutradarai oleh Ryusuke Hamaguchi. Dalam Oscar 2022, film tersebut mendapatkan total empat nominasi, yakni best picture, best adapted screenplay, best international feature film, dan best director.

Leslie Jordan dan Tracee Ellis Ross mengumumkan nominasi Academy Award tahun ini pada Selasa (8/2) pagi dalam dua bagian. Paruh pertama dimulai pada 05.18 dan berlanjut pada 05.31 waktu setempat. Penonton di seluruh dunia menyaksikan siaran langsung pengumuman tersebut di Oscars.com, Oscars.org, dan platform media sosial Academy.

Academy Awards ke-94 akan diadakan akhir bulan depan, pada 27 Maret, di Hollywood's Dolby Theatre. Upacara tatap muka akan disiarkan di stasiun televisi ABC.
