Oscar Umumkan 9 Kategori Awal untuk 2021

ACADEMY of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS) telah mengumukan daftar sembilan kategori untuk penghargaan Oscar mendatang, Selasa (9/2). Kategori ini antara lain film dokumenter, dokumenter pendek, film internasional, tata rias dan rambut, skor orisinal, lagu orisinal, film pendek animasi, film pendek aksi langsung, dan efek visual.

Pemungutan suara untuk daftar pilihan akan akan selesai pada 5 Februari dan sisanya akan dilanjutkan ke pemungutan suara resmi tahap pertama 5 sampai 9 Maret. Nominasi Oscar akan diumumkan pada 15 Maret dan acaranya dijadwalkan pada 25 April.
