NOMINASI untuk 75th Annual Golden Globe Award diumumkan Hollywood Foreign Press Association, Senin (11/12).Di antara para nominasi, ada nama James Franco yang masuk daftar nominasi aktor terbaik untuk perannya di film The Disaster Artist, bersama dengan aktor pendatang baru Daniel Kaluuya untuk film Get Out.
Sementara itu, Mary J Blige dijaogkan sebagai artis pendukung terbaik dalam film Mudbound. Selain itu, Blige juga masuk nominasi untuk lagu asli terbaik lewat kolaborasinya bersama Raphael Saadiq dan Taura Stinson dalam Mighty River.
Nama besar sutradara Guillermo Del Toro pun menemukan pembuktian kali ini. Kisah makhluk misteriusnya dalam The Shape of Water sukes menggondol tujuh nominasi. Itu menjadikannya sebagai pemimpin perolehan nominasi.
Film drama jurnalistik karya Steven Spielberg, The Post, mendapat enam nominasi, bersaing dengan Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri.
Sementara itu, seri HBO, Big Little Lies mendapat nominasi terbanyak (enam nominasi) untuk kategori acara TV. Di posisi berikutnya, ada drama sejarah FX, Feud: Bette and Joan, yang mendapat empat nominasi.
Golden Globe 2018 akan dihelat pada 7 Januari 2018 mendatang dengan Seth Meyers sebagai host.
