MerahPutih.com - Aziz Hedra, penyanyi sekaligus penulis lagu yang telah meraih penghargaan AMI Awards, kembali menghadirkan karya terbaru melalui single bertajuk Backseat.

Lagu ini menjadi kelanjutan perjalanan musikal Aziz setelah Somebody's Pleasure sukses mencatat pencapaian di 13 negara dan disusul perilisan EP Lesson Learned.

Cerita Personal Aziz Hedra di 'Backseat'

Lewat Backseat, Aziz membawa pendengar masuk ke cerita yang lebih personal. Lagu tersebut merekam fase ketika dirinya berhadapan dengan proses pendewasaan, beradaptasi dengan kehidupan sebagai perantau, sekaligus menjalani perjalanan di industri musik yang terus bergerak.

Di balik melodinya, Backseat menyimpan refleksi tentang bagaimana seseorang dapat kembali menengok mimpi-mimpi masa kecil yang sempat terabaikan dalam perjalanan menuju kedewasaan.

Cerita tersebut berangkat dari catatan jurnal pribadi Aziz. Dari sana, Backseat kemudian berkembang menjadi penanda perjalanan emosional dan spiritualnya, terutama ketika ia harus berhadapan dengan berbagai perubahan selama hidup jauh dari rumah.
